The Prisoner
السجين
A man inhabits a space he cannot leave. Through the stillness of confinement, the film asks whether the prison is imposed or chosen — and what changes when one person decides to stop.

Director's Note
I started with a simple question: what is the difference between a person who cannot leave and a person who has decided not to? The film grew from that.
- What is the psychological difference between imposed and chosen confinement?
- How does a space shape the person who inhabits it?
Process
Long takes. Almost no camera movement. The stillness of the space as a formal argument.
An inquiry into interiority — what happens inside a person when the outside does not change.
